I was so excited today to sustain a new Prophet! I have never done this before. We had the kids watch and sustain Prophet Thomas S. Monson also, Ryan with the Elder's Quorum, I with the Relief Society, and all the kids together at the end!! I hope my kids will remember this (they probably won't), but I will! It was neat to see the youth in the audience stand and sustain him I can't imagine what an experience that was for them! I hope you all enjoyed conference this weekend!

I completely agree! I really miss President Hinckley. I know it wasn't his church but I was having a hard time. I prayed last night that I would receive a confirmation that President Monson is called of God and that I would feel the same love for him that I have for President Hinkley and the minute I stood to sustain hime I felt such a wonderful love and confidence in him that got me choaked up.Sorry if this is too sappy. The short of it is I loved the solemn assembly this morning!
