Ryan & Coleman went to the Blue & White game on Saturday while I was in Dallas. I must admit I got lucky when I married Ryan, he's such a great dad! He suggested this knowing I would be gone, but he really wanted to take him. So my parents (which are also great!) watched the girls! They had an awesome time, I hope I can figure out the video thing and I will post Coleman making some catches!! Go BYU!!!

Hi, I'm in Texas!!!

Howdy, ya'll I'm here in the Great State of Texas! By the way I hope it's warm there because it is here!! Yea!!! I got here yesterday and have been having loads of fun going to the stockyards, I rode a bull. Eating, shopping, eating, & shopping some more! Fun, Fun, Fun! We are making cards tonight so we will be up late again! Last night we stayed up until 1:30 looking up blogs on blogsearch.google.com! We realized 90% of bloggers must be LDS because all the random blogs were of LDS people we didn't know!! We would search a last name of someone we knew and even though we never found most of their blogs, we found a lot of LDS families! Funny huh! Ryan & the kids have had a great weekend, even without me there! The girls went and saw "ANNIE" at Kingsbury Hall with my mom!! Ryan & Coleman had a great time going and meeting the BYU players scrimmage and sign autographs for the kids!!

April Snow Showers!

Here we are April 9th and it's snowing! See my tulips & daffodils! This winter just won't quit! As Ryan says "yeah, we definitely are in global warming!", he's not a big believer!

At Bunco we were talking about our kids eating with spoons & forks. This is one of Jaxsyn's favorite food's, cold cereal. I gave it to her at 3:30 pm yesterday because she was screaming! She had to use play spoon and a real spoon. But as you can see it made her happy!

Bunco Last Night!

I know most of my friends have this picture on their blog to, but this is still the only thing I did last night! We had the infamous Meg come and do toe nail painting instead of playing Bunco. It was fun and we all ended up having cute nails!! By the way that's 3 Jen's but we actually have 2 more Jen's in our neighborhood. I had my toes painted chocolate brown with pink little flowers.

Sustaining a Prophet!

I was so excited today to sustain a new Prophet! I have never done this before. We had the kids watch and sustain Prophet Thomas S. Monson also, Ryan with the Elder's Quorum, I with the Relief Society, and all the kids together at the end!! I hope my kids will remember this (they probably won't), but I will! It was neat to see the youth in the audience stand and sustain him I can't imagine what an experience that was for them! I hope you all enjoyed conference this weekend!

1. I only eat red & purple skittles! I sometimes eat the yellow, but I eat them first to save the best for last.
2. If it gets late at night and I start laughing, I snort.
3. I almost always leave the last bite of a sandwich, hot dog, or hamburger on my plate.
4. I talk in my sleep a lot. I once yelled "walk", when I was dreaming that someone was running on the deck when I was a lifeguard. Also when I do something different or exciting I re-live it again over and over in my sleep. I went to Prom 5 times (in my pj's) after I had gone the night before!
5. I love pickles, when Ryan worked at Mc Grath's he would bring home a take home box full of pickle spears and ranch dressing.
6. During each pregnancy my taste buds changed so in high school I like Dr. Pepper, after Sam: Pepsi, after Ashlynn: Dr. Pepper, after Coleman: Pepsi, after Jaxsyn: Dr. Pepper.

Jaxsyn got tubes in her ears!! Yea!

I know Yea, seems mean! But we have been dealing with fluid on her ears and infections for a year know almost every month. She was happy while we were waiting and had her "pretty" on her ankle, but then screamed when they took her. She can back 15 minute later screaming as well, and screamed for 1 1/2 hours (45 mintutes a the top of her lungs). The last picture is just a crouchy face, because she did not look that managable after the surgery. After a 2 1/2 hour nap she was awesome, happier then ever! So Yea, is right!!!

Ryan & Coleman @ Jazz Game!

Ryan & Coleman got to go to a Jazz game on Monday Night! Coleman said "It was freaking awesome, Mom!" They had a fun time, and Ryan being the Great husband he is took the camera to take some pictures! The Jazz Bear came a sprayed Coleman with silly string! And Coleman loved to hits those blow-up sticks together so the other team would miss their shot. Jazz was winning and Ryan told Coleman, that they could go at anytime if he was bored, and Coleman said "Are they going to shot out that string stuff "confetti"?"
Ryan said "Yes". Coleman answered "Then we are staying until the end!".

April Fool's Day Dinner!

This was our dinner tonight! Cupcakes, Ice cream & sticky buns. Really meatloaf cupcake, pink mashed Potatoes, mashed cauliflower(ice cream), rolls & gravy. They kids were shocked. I also put the Jell-o in the juice pitcher so Ryan pretended to spill it on Coleman. It was a fun day!!

4.Who is your hero? My mom, shes one of my best friends and as tough as can be, but very fun. We just walked through the McDonalds drive thru on Saturday night!
5.What have you learned throughout your life that you would share as advice for others? Be cheerful, it's contagious. Work hard at whatever you do. Volunteer, money isn't everything!6.What is your favorite goofy thing that your spouse does which makes you fall in love all over again? I couldn't name just one, we laugh together everyday, everyday for dumb reasons.
7.What is your favorite book(s) of all time? I will say the series that made me love reading The Babysitter's Club. There are many more books, but this is what made me love reading.
8.What is one of your pet peeves? People eating with their mouths open.
9. Where has been your favorite place to travel and why? I love traveling any where warm, Caribbean & Hawaii. They are great, but I truly LOVE camping with my family!
10. What do you love about yourself? If we are speaking of body parts I would have to say my legs! If we are speaking of personality, I'm usually pretty cheerful (I do have days I'm not ask Ryan) & I am willing to do anything to help another.
11.Would you take a million dollars if you could never use a computer ever again!? Nope, I would be unable to blog!!!! But really no, money isn't everything and I really do use the computer to do a lot of things!

I went to Colorado for my mom's sister's 50th Birthday Party! Went drove there Saturday morning and surprised her. I was a quick trip, but lots of fun! Jaxsyn was awesome and was very cute at the party! Ryan and the kids stayed home and went out to eat and watched movies and just had fun with friends!

Update: Jaxsyn's Pluggy All Gone!

Oh my goodness, that was easier than I thought it would be! She finally stopped asking for her "pluggy". By the 2nd day she went right to bed that night no crying!And she is sleeping better than she was with the plug, like all night long or not coming into our bed until 4 or 5 in the morning!!! Yeah, my last baby is off her bottle and pacifier next step diapers and then I'm home FREE!!!! Not to brag to all of those who are pregnant right now! Not sleeping at night is magical and you will love it lol!! Well at least the baby is magical!

Welcome Back Spring Party!

We had 15 Families with our 35 kids over for a "Welcome Back Spring Party". It was still a little cold but we had fun!!

Pluggy all gone!

We took away Jaxsyn's "pluggy" or pacifier. She was crying all afternoon saying "pluggy, pluggy, pluggy". We told her it was broken and all gone. Then she said "all gone, pluggy" "all gone, pluggy". We gave her candy to keep her happy until bedtime then she had to cry it out. She only cried for 30 minutes, but I'm sure we are still in for a long night ahead. Wish us luck! And we hope you won't be seeing any pictures of Jaxsyn like this one, even though she's a cutie in it.

Easter Hunting 2008!

4 Easter Egg Hunts & a little Dye!

Sorry there are no pics I left my camera at my mom's today. We started our day Easter egg hunting and ended the day Easter egg coloring! We went to my Dad's/Orem City Easter egg hunt (my dad runs the recreation department for the city). It starts at 9:00am. The kids won Utah flash tickets (11 tickets), a book, FREE kids meal, FREE pizza, a best buy gift card, and Bailey (my niece) won a bike!!! All by 9:45am! Then we all traveled to my parents house for another Easter egg hunt! After we went to lunch and shopped for the girls cleats & shin guards for soccer, we found some that were pink (cleats & shin guards) and a pink soccer ball!! We came home for an Easter dinner with Ryan's brothers and their families. The kids had an Easter egg hunt, and then the parents had an Easter egg hunt with $ in the eggs. It was hilarious to see adults fight over an egg with $1 in it. They were not aware that I added a $20 bill into one of the eggs! Jason found that egg so he was pretty excited. After they all left the kids dyed Easter eggs for tomorrow! I've never said Easter eggs so many times in a paragraph before.

We're Back from the Caribbean!

After packing, cleaning, and planning for weeks; Ryan & I went on our cruise vacation. It was tons of fun here are a few pics I will post more info later. Now I have to unpack & clean again!! By the way it is cold in Utah!!

I Guess I needed a nose Job!

Earlier today while I was unloading groceries from the car, I hit my sunglasses and they cut my nose. I was closing the trunk and right as I pulled on it, I dropped something and I went to grab it without thinking and bashed the door with my glasses. I don't think I'm going to get stitches I'll have Ryan look at it later. The doctor said we could come in anytime before 24 hours. Nice huh! When I asked what the kids thought of it; Sam said "Yeah it looks really bad" Ashlynn said "It look like it hurts really bad" Coleman said "It looks like a tiger scratched you" Jaxsyn said "owie" and pointed to her nose!!

Clean vs Dirty?

I cleaned out our pantry! It was looking rather sad & there was a caselot sale going on so I needed room( See the lack of cans?). The first thing Sam & Coleman said was "I can climb the shelves easier". I had to take a photo because I though that was such a funny comment.

While Ryan was cleaning up breakfast & I was folding laundry, Jaxsyn decided to open Coleman's face lotion. She got it everywhere including on the cupboards, when we saw her I just had to laugh. I'm so proud of Ryan because he's the one would grabbed the camera for a picture!! Maybe my blogging is wearing off on him!

Samantha's surgery!

Samantha had a vascular abnormality in her knee. Which is a cluster of blood vessels that have formed wrong and just keep growing more vessels. She had the 1st surgery in November and this was her 2nd & final surgery (at first they told us from 2-5 surgeries!). She did awesome, but had a hard time with the IV she cried. They just give her a sleepy medicine and pain medicine so she will stay still, and then they inject dye in her knee under ultrasound they can see the cluster of veins. They then inject a solution which turns to foam after it goes in, and that fills the vessels with foam and no more blood. As the foam dissolves away so do the blood vessels. It takes the foam 6-8 weeks to dissolve. It is a pretty easy procedure, and if you have to do it multiple times this is the way to go. We are glad to be done, and we just have to watch her knee to see if it comes back again! Thankfully she had excellent doctors and also wonderful new procedures which make it so they don't have to surgically remove the vessels.

Friday Night @ the Crockett's

This is the kids last Friday night exhausted and all laying with Ryan. This was not even posed! Today I shoveled off the tramp so the kids could jump. We all have cabin fever, and Jaxsyn stands by the backdoor and says jumpy, jumpy, jumpy!

The Nightmare of the Smiling Shark!

Okay, I have been dreaming of this stupid shark every night! Ryan think's it's hilarious! See how he's smiling at me! At first I was in the ocean with him and then thanks to the Today show (they visited the Georgia Aquarium), I've been in an aquarium with him almost every night the last 2 weeks. I think I'm a little nervous to snorkel and scuba dive in a few weeks! At least he's always just smiling at me not attacking! Right!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great time on Valentine's Day! Those who know me know I'm a holiday junkie! I decorated the kitchen with hearts and all pink, red, and white plates & cups etc. That morning the kids got some cute Valentine stuff and we had a pink heart pancakes for breakfast. Ryan & I and Coleman & Jaxsyn had lunch together! I helped with Ashlynn's school party and made love bugs with her class. For dinner we had yummy food and I made jello cups with chocolate hearts on the inside. That was the hit of the night! Ryan & I don't celebrate Valentine's Day for each other we think it's day that will just end in disapointment, and we would rather show how much we love each other on different days!! We both whole "Heart"edly agree with this, which makes us a perfect match!

Will It Ever Stop Snowing!

We get to shovel about 6 inches every other day. Okay, Ryan gets to shovel every other day! I think he will breakdown and buy a snowblower this year! I'm sure it is great to keep us from a drought, but it sure makes the winter blahs worse. I can't wait for spring and summer!
